The Beacon Litfest is an annual, volunteer-run festival that celebrates literary arts in the Hudson Valley and contributes to the region’s economic and cultural vitality. It aims to support local poets, writers, and educators and foster community around shared cultural experiences. In addition to the main weekend festival each June, BLF also offers professionally led writing workshops and other literary events throughout the year alone and in collaboration with local organizations and businesses.
